So the musical chairs of Creative Directors continues...
The worst kept secret in Fashion finally broke in the last 24 hours. While I was never the biggest fan of Hedi Slimane's work at Saint Laurent – I felt like much of it was lazy design – I can't help but feel a little bit disappointed that he's leaving. He had completely re-vamped the label into his own and is now leaving after such a short tenure. Where does that leave Yves Saint Laurent as a brand, will it continue in the rock & roll influence that Slimane had started? I guess that depends on who it's next Creative Director is.
